  Decided to pop in for dinner with no reservation. The place was packed but the staff was kind enough to slip us in (2) for an hour between larger dinner parties as it was our 1 year anniversary dinner. Went with the Seafood Platter for 2 and loved every bit of it. The service was really friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend but be sure to make a reservation if your thinking of dinner as we saw larger parties being turned away due to lack of space.

  After seeing all the positive reviews, we went in for the Surf & Turf special. Very good value for the money. We love Calamari. We ordered it as our appetizer. It was cooked perfect. My wife and I both got the Steak & Lobster. Both steaks we cooked exactly as ordered. The Lobster tails were juicy. The only issue was the dinner plate were too small for the amount of food on the plate.
  The wine is a bit pricey, yet can be expected for "Resort" prices.
  Our server was very attentive and even offered a "warm" table when we said we were out hiking all day.
  Overall, a fantastic experience for nice dinner.

  This was my first time at "The Pottery Restaurant" and myself and my friends were very impressed with the quality of the food. However, that being said the service was subpar. The first example of poor service was when the waitress cleared our table and spilled oil/ balsamic vinegar on my friend's phone. She had immediately apologized and then ran away without once offering to help clean up the mess or offer napkins. Secondly the waiter taking the order would often kick one of my friend's foot and not once apologized for this. We ordered appetizer and entrees and when our entrees arrived the plates from the appetizer course were not removed (there was no food left on the plate so this should be a clear indication). Finally when paying for our meals the waiter not once communicated with us but rather just stuck his hand out to indicate he needed our credit card, and then just stuck the ATM machine in our face without a single word. We did mention our experience with the waiter after paying for our meal however, he repeatedly stated that the poor service is due to the business/ new staff. I would hate. for this restaurant to lose customers over poor service, as the food was quite impressive!

  Had an excellent experience this past weekend. I must admit I was a little shocked out fast my steak came out given how busy it was. I was assuming it wasn't going to be cooked how I ordered it but I was WAY off. It was fantastic, as was their peppercorn sauce! Great atmosphere, good food, and a very friendly staff. Our server Lindsay was fantastic as well! It is clearly a top spot to eat at Blue as the lineup was out the door when we arrived....thank god we had a reservation! I would recommend this place to anyone.

  Food was very tasty. Staff were nice (although no-one offered a coffee refill). The turkey/pear/Brie sandwich with salad was very good. I wish it was real turkey (not smoked) but at least there was a stack of slices of turkey and it was stated on the menu, so I knew when I ordered it. Price wasn't too bad considering location (right in the ski village). Nice place inside. Had a view of the ski hill. Full bar (even 40 Creek rye. My favourite!)
