  Let me start by saying that I will never eat here again. My family of 9 go out once a year together and this year decided to go to The Dam pub because we have been there twice before and really enjoyed it and because they have an upstairs room that's a little more quiet and private. This was booked by email with Stephanie a few weeks in advance. We were told to be there at 7:15 sharp and that the service might be a little slow because of being busy and upstairs. We loved that because it would give us extra visiting time. We got there at 7:10 to find out that the room was given away to a party of 23. At first Stephanie would not come out to talk to us and when she finally did she started off by complaining that she was "very busy tending bar and did not have time for this". She was rude, kept saying that she never said the "upstairs room" even thought that's what we asked for and her reply was that she could accommodate us and to her it wasn't a big deal. She basically said she ran a successful business and doesn't make mistakes. She finally offered to buy us each a drink but she really couldn't care if we stayed or left. Her attitude was pretty much 9 people were not going to make or break her business and she just wanted to get back to bartending. The worst customer service I have ever received in my life and the food wasn't that great either. The ONLY positive thing about the night was our waiter James. He is amazing, funny helpful and great at his job.

  My wife is celiac, so needs gluten free food. Dam Pub has a good selection, and our server was very knowledgeable on the subject and made good recommendations. They have much better than average pub offerings; decent pricing; excellent service, and our party of 4 all had different meals, which everyone enjoyed.

  Paradise for the whiskey lover.. over 800 of them. The whiskey menu is quite overwhelming, so I opted for a preselected flight which had good selections I was satisfied with. The food was not bad, but not outstanding. My caesar salad had barely any dressing on it, but meat pie was decent.

  Cute place in Thornbury. Seems popular as there was a constant flow of pub goers. I'm not a craft beer person so there was only labbatt blue and Corona that interested me. Nice outside patio but no views, just the street and parking lot

  Made reservations for the girlfriend's birthday dinner. Fast and friendly service, even called day of to confirm reservations. Had the steak and liver pie and mussels to start. Absolutely prefect! Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. We will be coming back!
